A collection of shadows and light
Alcohol ink rose
This lovely and giant pink rose was created using alcohol inks and isopropyl alcohol. I had a lot of fun making this!
TA work
Everything we do in schools is precious. We worked extra because it was for the kids! And what a privilege it was to be a person that got to enrich children’s lives with a little bit of whimsy at school. As part of the end of term celebrations before the summer, I worked extra everyday to provide something fun to look forward to. This “summer is here” banner was created on a whim, just because I could. It was great to see kids faces light up when they realised it was cute little cats.
As a TA
This was my contribution to the children’s art week experience. I had great fun showing the kids it was okay to draw on the windows! I hope their parents didn’t mind either!
As a TA
Working as a TA, I had the privilege to meet many talented young children and as part of the children’s week in June we got to paint the school windows using chalk pens. I was the TA responsible for the project and had great joy going to each classroom and getting to see bits and pieces of their personality shine as we experimented and drew things that made us happy. A true privilege and an experience I will always hold dear.
Custom design
This painting was created for an amazing person who is a true tuba player and loves to wear a pink shirt. I created this as a gift for them to thank them for their wisdom. I hoped to capture their essence and personality in this piece.
Custom paintings
These three pieces were painted for my colleagues when I worked as an SEN teaching assistant. Each one curated perfectly for a specific person. Incorporating bits of their personality in each.
Custom piece
This beauty was painted as a Christmas present for a colleague. It was part of my witchy/ grim reaper collection. I tailored this particular painting for the person using aspects of their personality. With her pink/ blue and purple hair as inspiration and her explosive and positive energy, I hoped to capture as much of her personality into the art. Painted on thick watercolour paper and watercolour, inks and acrylic pens.
Wedding table decor
The inspiration for my wedding anniversary resin art. I hand made over 40 table decorations for my wedding. Years later and they became a piece of my art. I used aspects of these to incorporate into the wedding anniversary gift I made for my husband.
More alcohol ink art
Pink and blue are some of my favourite colours to mix together and using alcohol inks are a fabulous way to do it!
Alcohol inks on canvas board
A wonderful splash of colour! I love experimenting with different mediums.
